DateField doesn't send a valueChange event when it is emptied

Description

When emptying a DateField? component, no valueChange event is sent. This causes UI design problems, when it is required to add an extra "clear" button to every date field.

Noticed in -removed-: https://-removed--trac.itmill.com:4443/trac/-removed-/ticket/1134 (blocker)

Should I use the workaround or can we expect a fix for this problem?

The customer requested that it must be possible to empty the field without extra buttons -> a fix for this is required.

I'll check this. Problems seems to exist only with resolution == day
