Remove window seems to be broken on many browsers

  • IE 7, IE 6 (Win XP)
  • FF (Win XP, Linux)
  • Opera (Win XP, Linux)

We can remove "remove window" button from FeatureBrowser?.

BUT: closing window using window's close button provides JS errors and does not close window on some browsers. I'll provide more info personally.

Only broken if you try to remove window that does not exist in client anymore (closed from red button). Why it is still visible is du e our Window api needs still extension (which is coming today hopefully).

Please try it with Windows XP and IE7.

Window removing from X button removes the window but results in "infinite loading" (see status line of the browser), also layout brakes down somehow as 1/3 of the screen gets white. See attachment.

Continued from last comment, refreshing screen fixes layout and Window is again displayed.

Added server side support for removing windows as well as keeping the window position steady over the page repaints.
