Description

Both IT Mill Toolkit and Testing Tools need to have a program icon to identify the product in many different contexts:

  • distribution packages
  • distribution medias (cds, usb sticks,...)
  • executables
  • product brochure
  • website
  • web catalogs and listings

The icons should be coherent withing product family and as clearly as possible describe the product.

Jouni, please discuss with magi about the schedule. Icon should not block the release. Postpone it to 5.2.1 if necessary.

We'll have to postpone this to 5.2.1 since I accidentally lost the only version I already had ready for the icon (~4h of work), sigh...

My schedule is a bit too busy right now, but if the release date slides even further, I might be able to whip a quick version for 5.2.0.

I'll discuss this more thoroughly with Sami, we'll probably need to introduce the icon/logo in as many places as we can at the same time.

This would include our current "Feature Gallery" on the home page (I would ditch that apparatus, and build a much more simple presentation, the content is ok), dev.itmill.com, package index.html, manual and probably some other places as well.
